Our 2024 Christmas Competition: £300 for Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas

Temmy the owl giving a thumbs up: Mission Christmas 2024, £300 for Cash for Kids

In December 2024 we teamed up with our friends at I Love Manchester to run a Christmas competition in aid of Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas. One winner received a £200 Sainsbury’s Christmas feast, and we donated £300 to Mission Christmas in their name.

The competition has now closed. Here’s what it helped to do.

Did the £300 reach Cash for Kids?

Yes. We made the £300 donation to Cash for Kids Greater Manchester in January 2025, as part of its 2024 Mission Christmas appeal. The charity sent a certificate to us, and one to the winner, to say thank you.

What did Mission Christmas achieve?

Mission Christmas collects gifts and donations so that children in Greater Manchester who would otherwise go without wake up to something on Christmas morning. Cash for Kids Greater Manchester told us that in 2024 the appeal collected, sorted and distributed more than £1.4 million worth of gifts to 36,798 children in time for Christmas Day.

Our £300 was a small part of that, but every gift counts.

Why did we do it?

We’re a Greater Manchester business, and Cash for Kids is a charity our team has supported for a long time. Christmas is the time of year we feel most grateful for the clients who trust us with their brands, and running the competition with I Love Manchester was a simple way to give something back to the city and reach far more people than we could on our own.

Thank you to everyone who entered, liked and shared the post, and to I Love Manchester for getting behind it.

If you’d like to support Cash for Kids yourself, you’ll find their current appeals on the Cash for Kids website.
